While SMS and email notifications have long supported this, we identified an opportunity to enhance the experience by creating a more centralized, accessible way for clients to stay informed.
StatusCast is a direct response to that need, designed to complement and strengthen how Ecentric communicates in real time.

Introducing StatusCast

StatusCast is a real-time status and communication platform that provides clients with a central view of:

  • Service incidents
  • Planned maintenance
  • Ongoing service updates

By consolidating communication into a single platform, it reduces fragmentation and gives clients a clearer, more complete picture of service activity.

What this means for our clients

The introduction of StatusCast enhances rather than replaces existing communication channels.

Clients will continue to receive SMS notifications, while StatusCast provides an additional layer of visibility and control. Over time, it will become the primary hub for service communication.

A key focus area has been improving how we communicate planned maintenance, including PCI patching.

With StatusCast, clients now have access to a centralized maintenance calendar, making it easier to:

  • Access updates at any time
  • Stay informed, even if individual notifications are missed

This reflects Ecentric’s broader focus on making critical information more accessible and actionable.

The rollout of StatusCast is already underway, with full implementation targeted for the end of March 2026.
